Bonnie Widner4 days agoWe bought zebra shades for our home from a company in Dallas, but they went out of business, so I reached out to Made in the Shade in Abilene when we were having trouble with one of them. They stayed on top of it until it was finally replaced by the manufacturer. Although they didn’t get the original sale, they gave us incredible customer service when the original store couldn’t! I would highly recommend Cindi and Made in the Shade for all your window covering needs!Posted on Google
Marilyn Jones5 days agoWe had backporch screens that were torn due to high winds...:( Made in the Shade came out measured, showed us color choices & got them ordered👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼However, we apparently have really good taste🤭 because manufacturer was having trouble getting the color "frame" we picked!!! After several times waiting on our color, we were given a choice of the mfgs "upgraded" colors, - FREE OF CHARGE - & once these were shipped & received, MIS came out within days & got them hung❣️❣️❣️They look beautiful! We are so excited to once again, have the shades in place & functional🤗🤗🤗Thank you, MISPosted on Google

Kimmy Baker53 days agoWonderful experience! Cindy and Rickey were able to come out the day after we moved into our new house. They sat down with me and showed me several different options on windows that looked similar to mine. Rickey then began measuring windows while Cindy helped me pick out shade colors. They answered every question I had and were very friendly. Even better, their quote came more than $2,000 less than a competitor. The turnaround time was very quick; the shades were installed exactly 3 weeks after my consultation. Reese and Justice came to install them. They showed up exactly when they said they would, and worked quickly and efficiently. The process from consultation to install was seamless. I would highly recommend Made in the Shade Abilene.Posted on Google

Chris Albritton133 days agoThe Residents at Lyndale Abilene Senior Living Center are very pleased with the beautiful new window shades installed on the two doors leading out to our courtyard. They look wonderful, provide great light control, and even block enough light for us to show matinee movies in our Multi-Purpose Room during mid-afternoon-- an added benefit that elevates the environment for our Residents. These shades demonstrate quality, craftsmanship, and exceptional attention to detail. We also offer our most enthusiastic and heartfelt praise to MADE IN THE SHADE and to the owners, Cindy and Rickey Brown, whose professionalism and personal attention made the entire experience outstanding. We were especially pleased with their knowledge of the products, their responsiveness to our needs and timetable, and their overall helpfulness and friendliness throughout the process. Their guidance and service were exceptional from beginning to end, and we are deeply grateful for their contribution to enhancing the comfort and quality of life for our Residents. erica lunsford301 days agoThere are some things that AI and big box stores will NEVER replace… like Rickey and Cindy Brown coming to your home with an array of samples, examples, a helpful attitude and patience as you decide what blind choice will look best in your home. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. They graciously offer a military discount as well. If I had do to it again… I would choose Made in the Shade without hesitation.+1Posted on Google
